Becoming the GOAT, the flagship program.
An executive functioning curriculum for students who need more than a lecture. Each pathway is taught through authentic tasks, practiced with a mentor, and measured by what the student does.
Executive functioning, one skill at a time.
Each pathway pairs an executive function with one of the GOAT principles that gives it meaning for the student. Students work one pathway per cycle, chosen by the student after reviewing their report.
Built from Vision and Legacy. Break a task into steps and put them in order before starting.
Built from Critical Thinking and Communication. Decide what matters most and keep a running list.
Built from Vision. Keep materials, spaces, and files where they can be found again.
Built from Effective Communication. Hold directions and details in mind long enough to act on them.
Built from Hustle. Start without waiting for a push and get through the first hard minute.
Built from Mental Wellbeing. Stay with a task and return to it after an interruption.
Built from Success. Estimate how long things take and pace against the clock.
Built from Greatness. Finish what was started and check the work before calling it done.
Built from Transformative Relationships. Ask for help at the right time and use feedback to improve.
Built from Mindset. Adjust when plans change and steady yourself when frustrated.
Two ways to run it.
A middle school edition of the curriculum is in development. Ask us about pilot availability.
6-week one-to-one intervention
Intensive Tier 3 support focused on SEL and executive functioning. Weekly coach sessions, a building-rep practice between sessions, and a report at the end of the cycle. Fits an IEP or a behavior plan and runs alongside an existing schedule.
16-week institute (small group)
Tier 2 support for a group of five to ten, learning a skill over time rather than in one lesson. Group sessions on GOAT principles, with an optional one-to-one track for students who need more. Runs a semester.
GOAT Future Readiness, built into every pathway.
Skills are practiced on tasks that matter to the student. Across the 2025–26 year, group sessions covered fourteen GOAT principles, with financial literacy and budgeting, critical thinking and debate, and career exploration among the most common.
Measurable, observable, and chosen by the student.
Measurable and observable
Every survey item describes an action and the help involved. Usual tools and accommodations count as independent use. Nothing is scored as a feeling or a label.
Two perspectives, independently
The student self-report and a staff report cover the same thirty items, completed without seeing each other's answers. Agreement is a solid picture; difference is the conversation, and the plan is individualized from it.
The student chooses
The report recommends up to three pathways and explains why. The student picks, gives a reason, and the school team confirms. Ownership is the first skill.

We can start with a single 6-week cycle for a small cohort and scale from there.
